Walking on the Wild Side
Imagine the purest, whitest sand stretching before you to the horizon, turquoise waves of gem-like translucence lapping at your feet, and all surrounded by boulders cloaked in vivid red lichen.
This is the essence that Esther discovered as she trekked along Tasmania’s uninhabited northeast coast. The story of the trek includes encounters with wildlife, such as wombats and devils. It also describes some unique accommodation: an architecturally-designed, gourmet-catered, environmentally-sound inn perched on top of a lonely boulder.
