Life in the Tall Eucalypt Forests

#32 Sugar Glider in Flight
Sugar Gliders, like all species of gliders, do not land gently onto a chosen tree. Rather, they collide with it and then grip the trunk as the crash-landing takes place. The occasional “plop” can be heard in Mountain Ash forest as animals glide to a new tree. This species makes a distinctive “yip-yip, yip-yip” call reminiscent of a small puppy.
