The legacy of a great man
Arnold Newman was a master photographer and a pioneer. He developed a style of photography which got rid of the studio. Newman posed his subjects in their own environments: Stravinsky at his piano, JFK on the White House lawn, Georgia O’Keefe in front of a blank canvas topped by a skull.
I’d like to pay tribute to Arnold Newman with this new release from my stock library...

STOCK LIBRARY »
Photographing the entirety of Australia’s nature is Esther Beaton’s lifelong commitment. We may not have it all yet—but what we do have is deep coverage. FEATURES »
Esther Beaton is all about nature photography – and writing. Going beyond mere photography of beautiful animals and places, she weaves appealing stories about them to produce nature features. You can view published features, and features currently available for license.

PORTFOLIO »
Esther selects her best work to date and talks about the making of each photo. She talks about the technical aspects of the photographs as well as sharing in-depth information and her discoveries about each subject.

ON THE BEATON TRACK »
Beatons tracks definitely go off the beaten track. To get to where the wildlife is happening requires travel, some of it to remote places, some of it into strange places, but always into interesting places. Read some of the tales along the trails, and also what new projects are getting cooked up.

WORKSHOPS »
As one of Australian Geographics longest term and award-winning photographers, Esther shares her professional secrets in these select workshops on the outskirts of Sydney.
